Counterbalance Forklift Training Oakville - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift is a forklift together with a weight which counters the balance, allowing the load's weight to be spread evenly across the arms of the forklift. Counterbalance forklifts are made so the weight on the lift is counterbalanced by the weight behind the centre of gravity. The load is projected out from the machine's front so it is visible to the operator of the forklift. This particular kind of forklift truck should only be used on stable, level ground or on a prepared surface.
Forklift drivers are needed to acquire training which will allow them to better understand the proper or right method across the arms of the forklift. The trainee will be taught to correctly lower and raise the load vertically and how to tilt the mast of the lift truck, moving the mast between 5 and 15 degrees both forwards and backwards. Trainees will learn the RTITB standards required for safely operating the forklift. Trainees will also become familiar with the kinds of attachments for the arms of the forklift.
